Hello all!
Would you like to showcase your talent at this year’s National Convention in Austin? The National Federation of the Blind Performing Arts Division excitedly presents this year’s Annual Showcase of Talent on Tuesday, July 7th, from 8 PM to 11 PM, at the JW Marriott Austin!
Preregistration is now open through June 30th for up to 15 slots, and the remaining 10 slots will be available for registration at the National Convention from July 3rd – July 6th.
Registration for performers is $15 per act, and family and friends can attend the show for $5 if they purchase early admission tickets or $10 if they purchase tickets on the day of the event/at the door.
Please keep your family-friendly performance between 2 minutes and 4 minutes in length, no longer, including any introductory remarks. We reserve the right to end performances that exceed the time limit, so practice your performance with this in mind. Please also limit yourself to one entry as a solo, part of a duet, group, etc. excluding accompanying others, to maximize participation. While all skill levels are welcome, there will be a judged competition with cash prizes for the winners. If you have taken either 1st or 2nd place in the Showcase since 2021, please refrain from entering again to allow others the chance to perform.
By submitting the form below, you agree that video footage and photos of your performance may be taken during the Showcase, and that this media may be used for Division promotional materials.

Instructions for Preregistration through June 30:
1) Please fill out the below registration form no later than Tuesday, June 30. The first 15 fully completed forms with accompanying participation fees will be put on the list. Make sure to include any required back-up track attached to your form, or email it to
nfbpad@gmail.com.
Note that only the following file formats will be accepted: .wav, .mp3, or .m4a. Links from YouTube or any other streaming service will not be accepted.
2) Payment of $15 per act must be made via PayPal (
www.paypal.me/nfbpad
) or Zelle (use email nfbpad@gmail.com) by the end of the day on June 30.
Instructions for Registration at Convention:
Fill out your information and make your payment during the convention at one of our events or with Secretary Elizabeth Rouse. The last 10 slots will be reserved for on-site registration during convention. Any sign-ups must be completed and received no later than 12 PM on Monday, July 6, which includes receipt of payment as well as any necessary back-up tracks in one of the formats indicated above. If payments have not been made by this deadline, your entry will be dropped from the list.
